The version of Skyrim on Pun Top is moddable—with limits
By default games acquired through the Windows Memory boar, including those on Plot Pass for PC, install to unchangeable read-only directories, making them impossible to mod. All the same, some games have a toggle to neuter this, meaning the Game Pass versions of FTL, State of Decomposition 2, and a handful of others actually butt be modded. And soh give the sack Skyrim Special Edition, one of 13 Bethesda games recently added to Gamy Pass, and a gimpy that's improved significantly by mods.
However, it's not altogether good newsworthiness. The Pun Exit edition of Skyrim Special Edition has a contrasting executable to the Steam clean release, and is incompatible with the Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE). Without SKSE, many of the most popular and compulsive mods won't work. According to the SKSE web page, it May stay that way. "SKSE cannot subscribe any expected Windows Store resign of Skyrim", it says. "Windows Store applications are locked down similarly to consoles and do not appropriate the Genus Apis necessary for script extenders to work."
So no SkyUI or Legacy of the Dragonborn then. There are still great mods out there that don't require SKSE, however, look-alike those collected at Bethesda.net. If you've got Skyrim through and through Game Passing, you'll still follow able to utilisation Alternate Start—Live Another Life, A Select World Map, Inigo, and The Unnoticed City. Hither's our list of the unexcelled Skyrim Special Edition mods to help you find more, or come across what you're missing.
